Pardon me if this thread has been kicking for ages, but how do you guys handle or manage your contacts from BB10 I tried linking and sweeping duplicates this morning, after few hours three or four were duplicates.

Now have you got a paid application?
I even deleted the e-mail synchronisation from accounts, still no help

I agree. Use contact X or Contacts Manager.
But if you're having issues with contacts, instead of disabling email sync, why not try to disable contacts sync?
Since contacts duplication is your issue.

It helped me but not entirely. It won't solve the problem for the op

I will give it a try, although BB10 is fluid, contacts are a problem

A third party contact management app helps a lot, but you also need to delete all your SIM card contacts as well as your Gmail or Outlook or whatever account you sync with contacts. Then reload the cleaned up contacts.

I still get duplicates when the same person is in my personal contacts and in various social media contacts. Since the social media listings pass on what the person entered, if they don't enter their information exactly the same way, they'll be listed as separate entries. Then you still need to link them manually.
