I've been using BlackBerrys for years now and when I look at my Torch 9800 if I'm connected to the AT&T network in the upper right corner it says 3G then shows 4 little dots before the service level bars... Do those little dots (almost like a portion of the BlackBerry symbol) represent something specific? I never really though about it before but if I turn off all my connections and then turn on wifi the dots show up in the line below where they usually are next to the wifi service indicator. Do those dots represent how you are connected to the BIS? This may be a terribly stupid question, but it has peaked my interest...

Its a smaller version of the BB logo. It just represents how you are connected to BIS
