The wireless (VZW) signal in my office is spotty at best, so I often have difficulty accomplishing tasks on my Tour that require a steady OTA connection, like syncing google calendars, downloading apps, etc.

I'm looking for a way to connect the BB to the internet using a PC connection, via USB. In other words, a USB connected BB would be able to get online through the PC's connection to the internet rather than OTA. Essentially the reverse of tethering.

I've read several threads indicating that this is impossible...but I don't think it is. The author of the excellent PodTrapper application has written a small app that, when running on the PC, will use the PC's internet connection rather than the BB's (BB must be connected via USB). So, clearly there is a way to enable at least a specific app to use a PC internet connection rather than OTA. There must be a way to enable this for other apps, or all apps, no?
