Ok.
My computer is not recognizing my blackberry. I am running windows vista, I have two computers with desktop manager installed and neither of them recognize my bb. I plug the bb in adn I get the sound, my bb charges, but a notification window comes up and says "device not recognized" and on the desktop manager it says "device connected none"

Things I have tried
Battery pull
New USB cord
Computer reboot
Uninstall bb desktop manager and reinstall

None of this has worked and I have done it on two computers.

Anyone else had this problem?
Any ideas?

I guess maybe I just need to take my BB into verizon.

reboot both computers if thsi still doesnt work then change usb ports that you are plugged into

yea i had a similar issue. it was due to USB drivers locking up. if the reboot doesnt work, try downgrading to DM 4.6.

I used to have that similar issue too.
but it's ok now.

Once I had an issue with DM not recognzing my berry also. In my case it had nothing to do with the phone my computer firewall was blocking it.I set my computer firewall to allow the program an it has worked ever since.
