I have the blackberry pearl 8100 which has Colored LED's in the trackball and i'm due for an upgrade in a month. I really like the concept of the colored LEDs and I was just wondering if there any other blackberrys out there now that have the Colored LEDS also?

Not too sure, however you can colour almost any trackball by colouring a piece of scotch tape with a permanent marker (choose your colour), let it dry thoroughly and then trim the tape so that it fits nicely under the trackball housing above the white LED light.

I definitely may have to try the scotch tape trick. Didn't like the idea of actually painting my trackball or anything...

It works like a charm, best thing about it is if you get bored of a certain colour just remove the tape and try something new

Also, if you color your trackball you void your warranty.

Only if you go about it like an *****

If you are careful and smart, you can color your trackball and make is easy to un-do
