    is there a way to completely delete all the contacts from my blackberry? i've got duplicate entries throughout and i just need to clear them all so i can re-sync and be done with it.

    what if it literally wont let me delete the contacts?? like, I hit 'delete' and it doesn't delete?!?

    I think there is a way to clear your databases via Desktop Manager. I seem to recall in the "Backup and Restore" function...

    But it's weird it won't let you delete them individually.

    I had that issue with calendar entries on my curve. It happened after restoring a backup from the old BB to a replacement one. I upgraded to a newer OS and that problem went away. The duplicate entries were still there but I could finally delete them.
    I would assume you could do a backup, wipe your BB, and restore selectively excluding those contacts. I would assume, I'm not certain.
