CrackBerry Kevin seems to be clear that, in Winnipeg, the Surface has been popular at retail outlets over Christmas, but it is heavily discounted after being written down just like the PlayBook was the Christmas before.

PlayBook outsold iPad in the UK at Christmas in 2012 as it was so cheap, didn't do much for the platform or marketshare after that.

that's what I thought, as in I've been hearing the sub 10" w8.1 tablets are actually quite good a deal, a bang for the buck. Not surface though, there are other sub 10" windows8.1 tablets out there.
