NOW THATS OLD SCHOOL!
I can already tell that the graphics are horrible without having to boot it up.
Wow looks ancient now but I bet it was the talk of the town when it first launched...
It still looks interesting to me. I bet it does email rather well...
I bet the graphics on this dinosaur are like those of the old Commodore 64, Atari and the Odyssey2, all rolled into one! lmao ;)
And would you believe, that I have used and "owned" all 3. :o Used the Commodore before the age of 8. Had a couple or 3 Atari's and about 6 Odyssey's. Does that seem crazy to you? I'm only 30. These machines are ancient!
LOL WOW! How huge it that phone?!?!?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
Bet it has OS 5.0 ;)
i want one...just for my collection
thats hot stuff there. yupz
need one where can I buy it ;)
Its either an 857 or a 957 data only device. They worked like pagers. 857 runs on 800 MHz DataTAC network that bell mobility used. Not sure if they still support it. The 957 ran 900 MHz Mobitex network cingular rogers and another company had it. Cant remember who. I used to have one I think that it was with old sprint before the startac.
Skytel...thats who had them. Look here if you want one. Blackberry 957, Cell Phones PDAs, Electronics items on eBay.com
What a relic!!!
That actually was my first Blackberry!
That's funny. I forgot what they used to look like I think!
Search for RIM 957
Similar body style.. but not called "Blackberry"
The device ran Goodlink.. that was my first RIM device. =)
One of the listings has a "Buy it Now" price for $2.99!
Somewhere there are probably truckloads of these.
Too bad there isn't an "old Blackberries Home" where they can live out the remainder of their days.
Anyone know what year this model was released? I didn't see any dates in the listings, but I only looked at a few.
I think a retro version would be kinda interesting.
