I currently have a bold 9700 (unlocked by default) onto which I'm currently on a bb prepaid plan with orange. I'm flying this friday, and to avoid roaming charges, I'm opting to use a bb prepaid plan there..
Will I have to delete all email settings on the device and ask my carrier to de-associate my device from their bis server before leaving? Or should I just buy a sim card and register my device abroad?
I'm wondering if the bis server will ask the following "Device has been detected on a new sim card, do you with to transfer settings blah blah blah" (I've tried that locally switching to another carrier and it works), never did that when abroad..
