I bought my Pearl on ebay not ever thinking I was going to encounter email problems. I get all the junk mail from the previous owner and I can't change the user profile so that I can only get my email. Is there anything I can do about this or am I stuck getting tons of junk mail everyday?

You can simply delete the previous owner's email from the device under your email settings.
