I would like to change the WiFi MAC on my blackberry 9700.
How do I go about this?

You can't Mac addresses are hard coded into the wifi chip or whatever they only way is to de solder it and swap another one. On psp systems u could "mask" it with something of your choosing but it never actually changed the numbers. same for computers as well and I think u have to be quite savy to mask it.

Are you banned on someone's network or something?

On windows you simply change a registry value, and this is used rather than the hardware MAC.

Isn't there someone with the technical ability to answer this question? I find it hard to believe that you would have to remove the wireless chip.

    It can't be done.

Edit: I can't figure out why the link will not work. Just click on the link and take out the first address, go to the second one. It's a thread on CB.
