No way sorry. Only way to get the Android OS is go buy an Android device.

On a Blackberry Storm everything stays with the Storm OS

    Nope.

The only way is to buy an Android phone. The BlackBerry runs the BlackBerry OS and that's it.

Just remember anything is possible, but highly unlikely anyone would waste time trying this.

A RIM engineer might be able to do it, but why would he/she? Your average user, would not stand a chance, you would need drivers for the hardware, and you'd have little or no change in having the ability to address the firmware to input them, let alone to even make them in the first place. Plus depending on which storm you have you might not have enough horsepower to even run Android. I highly doubt a Storm1 has a chance and a Storm2 might not either, BUT it's got a better chance. But there's no way for you to program the firmware to do it.

EDIT: I was able to trade my Storm2 for a Droid1 at the CB Market Place, last year, when I wanted to give Android a go. You might want to try making a trade yourself. OR selling your BB device (Devices) and buying an older Android device. Remember though to use our Market Place you must have 100 good posts and 3 months as a member.

You could always set your wallpaper to a picture of the little green droid and pretend you had a better phone.

There are themes you can buy if you are simply talking about icons.

I also suggest a theme that resembles Android. That is about as far as it can go...

i don't know why you would want a different, or two OS's running... Blackberries use blackberry OS.... as many people said, a theme is your best bet. there are tons of them in the themes section. Andriod, Windows Mobile etc...

Unless there is a particular aspect you are dying to have, perhaps an app would suit you needs... what exactly are you looking to do, or do you just want a different os for fun... ???

Other forums lock threads that are over a month old. Alas...

Anyway, putting Android on a Storm is an insult. Whether or not it's an insult to Android or the Storm is personal preference.
