I have just retired my BlackBerry Z10,the original OG headset.
I am writing this with a huge smile on my face, as the Z10 has performed almost without fault for just over a year and now passes the baton onto my newly acquired BlackBerry Passport.

When I first saw the leaked pix on CrackBerry, I thought I was looking at the new iPhone and although I tried to keep my head an retain some level of perspective, I did not get a warm feeling in my tummy from observing the handset.

Fast forward 2 years and that feeling has changed dramatically. I (almost) love the Z10, I really really dig BlackBerry 10 and I truly love not following the masses of smartphone owners.

BlackBerry are awesome!

QNX are awesome!
How they have come so far in such a short space on time, is beyond me.

The Passport is F@ing Alien Technology!! Totally nuttz.

So I just want to take the time out to show the utmost respect for the BlackBerry Z10, the Father, the original soldier.

When the son and successor of the Z10 finally arrives, he will be magnificent, proud and resilient.

From a lover of the physical qwerty keypad, to the glass swipers of the greatest virtual keyboard to grace a mobile device, hold tight, the future is nearer than you think.

Passport is in hand but I really wanted to show my gratitude towards the Z.

This is exactly what will happen with my z30 once a red passport reaches my hand.
I am even considering alternating both of them as they both are superb devices.
You also don't see this type of appreciation by neither an android or iPhone owner. These devices are disposable, Blackberries on the other hand are ever lasting and without a doubt legendary.
