    A few reasons:
    1. Can't attach multiple files to an email except pictures. So no Word, PP, Excel files can be emailed together. This is a big one for the actual enterprise.
    2. Can't push a company policy on to the device
    3. Not secure

I'm a BlackBerry fan but what is the point of this? I'm not worried about what they can't do as I'm really not insecure about my choices in devices.

This post was meant to educate those who do not know the reasons as to why iOS will not succeed in the enterprise leave alone DoD. It's good for Home Depot to send out multiple pictures but not for the business user who wants to send out multiple files (doc, xls etc..)

Actually iproducts are used in business all over. They aren't used when there is a higher level of security required but still used non the less.

There are other uses for those devices in enterprise. All products have strengths and weaknesses.

And yes the strength in BlackBerry is for the enterprise and other devices for social networking. Which I understand.

Lol. Way to jump to conclusions. No, I'm not an Apple user. Well I have a mac computer but that's it. I never said it was better or as good for such purposes. I simply said that they are used and to say they aren't, is just wrong.

Item 2 an 3 are incorrect. Go back and do your research.

66% of your bullet points are incorrect, which means the 33% that's left is not worth a thread.

Apple does not have anything close to what BlackBerry has to offer when it comes to security and IT policy for the enterprise. Did they pass the DoD test yet?

Now you are qualifying your original statements for items 2 and 3. So apparently you're not as sure as you once were. Just another flame bait thread.

Leave IT to the professionals and stick to what you know.

Absolutely correct. NASA was playing Angry Birds Star Wars when they let the Omni contract.

And several medical research facilities were playing Operation.

Yup.....and NOAA has been playing Where's My Water all these 18 months.

And DoD...M well they've got a scooper seeeekret game none of us know about because they'd have to kill us.....it's commonly referred to as "need to Know" so we don't need to know so we don't know.

    Absolutely true....
