We have cameras at our store that we can view thru the internet.
I have been trying to gain access via my BB, no problem connecting to the site and entering my user name/password and then nothing... the connection stalls and won't load the pictures. I am not sure if this is a limitation with my 8703e or if it doesn't work on a mobile at all.
I have tried it thru the BB browser and thru Opera.
Any ideas?

I'm sure it has to do with the media format. The BB is very picky with that.

Are some of the newer models able to watch video? I wonder if a Curve or 8800 would be able to access.

All the blackberries have the save browser (at least, for the same OS).

BUT, we can try it from our browsers/berries.

In this forum, there are many people, with every existing blackberry model and OS!

BlackBerries don't support streaming video out of the box. I know that Sona Mobile is working on something, might even be out already.

Bummer - I was really hoping that being able to view the cameras would be the rational for purchasing the new 8830...!
