I have a blackberry storm 2 that I cant get to connect to the desktop manager at all. The computer clearly recognizes the phone under "my computer" and it even lets me drag and drop files on to the phone. But when I open desktop manager it asks me to verify that my device is connected to the computer. It doesnt even let me click on anything like Options or Help. Ive tried unplugging, restarting, removing the battery, reinstalling and nothing works. Starting to really get frustrated as I only need desktop manager to complete a step to fully unlock the phone(get internet). Any help on what I can do here? Would be really appreciated. I have windows 7 on a Compaq and Desktop Manager version 5.0.1.

I have and nothing changed. Plus, like i said, the computer its self recognizes that its connected, but Desktop Manager doesnt.

Any other ideas? This Storm 2 that I just bought to unlock and change to AT&T is pretty useless if I cant get this to connect.
