I used to work for a company that provided me with a Blackberry 8830 on the Bell Canada network. When I was let go I had to return the phone immediately and I didn't have a chance to deactivate my Yahoo mail being forwarded to the device. Now the new user is complaining that they keep receiving my Yahoo mail! The company seems unwilling or unable to deactivate it from their end. I no longer have access to the phone or the user account. Is there a way to deactivate my mail forwarding in some other way, maybe a filter in my Yahoo mail?

    Thanks-

change the password should skip that. Otherwise, log onto the BIS account where you set up the email and remove it.

log into your yahoo account, change the password. when the old bb tries to pull the email from that account, it won't be able to as the password info stored on that phone and BIS account won't match anymore.
