Ok I have 200 blackberrys that our company wants to purchase from carrier x and they want certain apps and programs uninstalled from each blackberry before giving them out to the end users.
Now I dont want to have to manually uninstall the apps from each blackberry. Is there a way to create a profile and copy it to each blackberry. Or can i create a theme that will restrict those apps.
Or can i create an it policy for this?
I am just looking for some guidance.

thanks in advance for any input you may have.

We are currently running bes 4.1.7

You can create a policy in BES to restrict whatever you want and then "push" that
policy to every device connected to the BES.

I can't help you with the "mechanics" of it but standby, there are some pretty
smart BES Admins on this site who can fill in the blanks.

With BES, you can control all aspects of the BB's that you deploy, what apps run, EVERYTHING, so you should have no problem disabling the apps that you don't want in use.

    Try here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f50/

Like other have said, you can control anything and everything on a BB that is connected to your BES. You can even see what messages, text, and BBM convos on on that device. It's very powerful
