Can you play MOV (Quicktime) video files on a Blackberry Z10?

I have a Blackberry Z10 updated to the latest version of the Blackberry 10 OS - 10.3.3.1463

This page says I can play MOV files (I have downloaded a file from informit.com that plays on my Windows 10 mobile phone):

However, when I click on the file in File Manger I get this error message:
Error
This file contains an unsupported media format.

Media support on BlackBerry 10 has always been hit or miss with anything other than AVI files for video. MP4, MOV have always been quirky. Try a reboot and see if it will play, you can also try downloading the Android version of VLC or you can try re-encoding the video to something different.
