Some folks I know totally cannot live without their Blackberries. Just curious if we've all become so dependent on it!

Can I sustain life without it? Yup. Last I checked, it doesn't assist me in breathing, eating, etc. Would my life be way less convenient without it? Absolutely.

Of course I can, as it really is just a phone.
I never take on vacation with me, I turn it off
when I sleep, have dinner with the family, sit on
the deck and talk to my wife, etc...

I simply am astounded by the abject stupidity that
surrounds the BB. It is a phone, not an object to be
deified. And in most cases does not need to be with
the user ALL THE DAMN TIME.

I can, if I HAVE to but I would prefer not to. The longer I have it the more I become attached and depend on it.

I do, my MO is to show up in these threads, rant and leave.
Most people know I'm just poking fun at the "addicted" culture.

Sure could. My biggest thing is having a phone and texting. Could I live without the frills my BB provides? Sure, but it would be hard to go back to a regular phone!

In general I just need to have a phone with me... Or I feel anxious

Can I live without my Blackberry for personal use SURE CAN, but for work use NO WAY. To many of my deals are done because of this handy device. I do take on it vacation with me since unfortunately I do conduct business on Vacation. I am a broker and if I don't have access to a customer when they want to process a transaction, they might as well go somewhere else. Plus while on vacation or away from the office out of a week, I am using it maybe a total of 2 hours for work related. No big deal!!

I could live without my BB, but life without it would be without the convenience it gives me (not to mention peace of mind).
