It would be the same as connecting the BlackBerry to a WiFi hot spot.
Find out what your SSID is for the hot spot, and log in with the required credentials.


Then pay a lot of money for the bandwidth :P

I'm guessing that is an understatement.

It's been a while since I used a satellite phone (I was in Zambia in a national park) but it was pretty expensive. It does work though but be careful of how much you are spending.

Yeah, I had offered some advise awhile back for someone weighting options for internet in a very remote area and had researched protable Sat-Internet. It's still expensive.
Not including the device, which goes for about $800US MSRP, the "data" plans aren't by the GB or MB, they are by the minute:
