It may depend on your carrier. For example, if you have a Bell Canada Blackberry Plan, an Android or iphone won't work for data. Most other carriers do not have Blackberry specific plans, and the sim should work in any phone. While difficult to convince Bell that a Blackberry plan is not necessary for BB10 phones, it is possible to use a Bell ordinary plan sim card in a BB10 or any other phone. The APN needs to be changed manually to pda.bell.ca.
