    Why 3.2MP? I mean, what does that extra .2 do for me??

    I understand the concept of megapixels, but still why the .2? There has to be some logic to it. My digital cam is 9.1; when it already has 9MP, is that .1 really going to make a resolution difference?

    It's what the optics, in combination with the optical array works out to be. I seriously doubt RIM makes it, that's what they found off the shelf that siuts their needs. It's rather doubtful they looked at 3.0MP, and thought, nahhhhh our customers need .2 more.
