incoming calls- the numbers are not kept anymore on call log- they just vanish. email messages randomly start disappearing from the unit. still on office computer but not in the unit.
anyone had this before? is there somethign i can do to get it to stop happening.
Common low memory issue. First thing check your memory.
options > status File Free.
After that take out the battery without turning of the phone,
put it back after 30 seconds and recheck your memory.
Finally, look at the memory optimization guide and CrackMem,
both in my signature.

This used to happen to me all the time. I called AT&T several times about it and the best answer I received, from a tech that had a blackberry, was that RIM causing the the call log and texts to disappear, not AT&T or the phone.
I told a someone about it and he said that it was RAM memory issue, and that if you close out each app you go into, versus leaving it running in the background, it should free up the space.
So far it has worked for me :)
That is one part of the solution, and a very good one, but honestly
doing the memory optimization will do more to help with this issue
permanently better than anything else.
I have 20 or so apps, two themes, a couple of launchers and I am
sitting on about 30mb of memory. I never have to worry about this.
I don't have as much as AG but I hover around 35. Highly reccomend the memory opt.
