    When I installed the latest version of BB desktop software - 7.0 (published 29/05/12), it hung/ crashed part way through the install.

    However it appeared to have installed OK so I continued to test it.

    Now when I try to sync, it appears to read the first calendar record and then stops with a runtime error and closes the program - basically, it just crashes out with this error:

    Program: C:\Program File....
    This application has requested the Runtime program to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information


    There are no calendar updates from Outlook onto my BB so it does nothing. Syncing Contacts appear to work OK.

    I have tried the following:
    - uninstall desktop software (6 times) and re installed
    - restored a previous day backup file
    - rebooting both 8520 and laptop several times
    - tried to find a previous version of desktop software but couldn't find it on RIM website

    Need help, please!!

    Anyone experienced this and solved it? It looks like a low level code error but can't see a way out at the moment so any help would be greatly appreciated.
