    On my blackberry my default reminder for meetings is set to 5mins. Any meeting I create or send out on my blackberry automatically gets this 5min reminder set and then as expected 5mins before the meeting the reminder goes off. This is great and perfect for a forgetfull guy like myself.

    The issue is on meeting invites I receive from other people. It always comes through with meeting reminder set as none and then when I accept it, no default reminder gets set. I have to accept, then go into calendar, then change reminder to 5mins.

    I believe this is becasue it takes the default reminder settings of the sender.

    Is there a way I can force it to use my default setting on meeting invites from colleagues?

    Or failing that is the an app that automatically gives you a reminder for any calendar event either created by yourself, or sent to you from a colleague?
