I rented Argon a couple of days ago on my BB10 and watched it via micro HDMI on my TV which was amazing.

Now that my 48 hour rental has expired I wanted to buy rather than rent it again as rental was 3.99 and it is 8 to buy. For some reason though the only option that blackberry world gives me is to download and rent it again. I cannot buy it!


Anyone know how to fix this?

Some you can rent and not buy, some you can buy but you cannot rent. For example you cannot rent avatar, only buy it. Maybe that was with your movie and you are mistaken about seeing the 8$

There were options to both: buy the film and to rent it. I now want to just buy it but it won't let me as I have previously rented it the only option I have is to download it again and rent it. Well annoying

The Video Store would not accept my debit card info and I kept thinking I was typing it in wrong. After 9 times, I gave up trying to rent the movie. The next day, my online banking showed that I had NINE charges for $3.99. I know it wasn't my debit card, because to test it out, I bought Chimpact and it worked fine.

My bank reversed the charges, and Rovi's customer service (the Video Store is by Rovi) is terrible. They have you leave a voicemail and they "will call you back." it's been 5 days and they haven't done sh1t.

Were these 'pending' charges or 'posted' charges?
