I've done a search and couldn't find much information.

Is there a way to transfer all of my contacts at once without having to save it individually to a SIM card and restoring it after that?

I've always thought that backing up information from one BB and restoring it to another would do it but it didn't transfer for me.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

You can either use the device switch wizard in DM or

Go into DM, go to Backup/Restore, click Advanced.

Save the adress book DB, click the left button to save.

plug the new BB, open the saved file and click the right button to transfer over.

You can backup your BB and then transfer just the contacts into your phone.
Backup/Restore>Advanced>Open backup file, find address book, and transfer.

If all else fails you could probably get someone at the AT&T store to do it for you. When I got my 9700 they offered to transfer over all my contacts for me instead of my having to do it from DM.

Or you could just sync your contacts to outlook or windows mail. Then sync them back to the new phone.
