    I purchased a Bluetooth dongle (USB Adapter) and installed it on my laptop and everything works fine. I unplugged the dongle from laptop and plugged into my desktop pc. I tried to install it but it comes up as trying to connect to my laptop.
    Once these are installed on a computer, are they dedicated to that computer ?

    I don't think it is dedicated. Are you sure your laptop does not already have BT internally? Many new ones do.

    Yea, it's a 2 1/2 year old Toshiba with no BT.
    I was kinda surprised that it didn't have it.

    I've tried doing a "New Device" search to add my PC and it says
    "1 Device Found" but always comes up as my laptop.
