Ok I did a search (before I got belittled by anyone) on this and nothing really on this exact topic.

When I press alt+back button to see all my running apps, the browser always shows. Eventhough I've completely closed it. Is that normal? Does the BB need the browser to always run for BB data? I just think that's kinda weird.

Alt+back brings up the switch applications menu. That's not running apps.

You will always see browser, messenger, home screen, messages, and call log.

Doesn't the switch applications menu include all running apps?

So basically the browser is functioning somehow, someway eventhough it's been completely closed?

I think so because a BB is always looking for data.

If you hit menu>close in the browser, it's not running. You can even use crackutil to completely remove the browser and the icon still shows in switch applications.

Ok thanks guys and gals! I was just wondering. I had a feeling it's what's used for data.
