    I am just wondering...

I know that if you have a capable Hardware (PC) you can either install Windows or Linux on it.
I even saw my dentist having a Mac/Apple hardware on his desk, but it was running Windows on the screen...

My question is... can a phone which has the required specs run BB10 by deleting its "motherboard" to nill i.e. deleting every piece of data on it, then running a sort of "core-autoloader"?

Maybe we must have a "nucleus" file???

My question is triggered by the fact that the slider would "only" run android... I want it running BB10... Is it technically feasable to delete its hardware ROM and install BlackBerry 10 on it?

I would consider this way 'only if' it is not officially done.

Okay... I imagine that it could be "difiucult" but not impossible. I saw a dev alpha project here at CB, trying to run BB10 on the playbook... I think the limitation was the insuficient specs....

What if we get the slider runninng BB10? It has the required specs!
Could BB10 run on S6/iPhone6 devices, too?

An idea could be to "translate" (from the mathematical point of view) the core of a device to another.

I thought, what about the Hardware PIN... may be we should "sacrifice" a BlackBerry device by transferring its core to an other device.
We could then take a "cheap" Z10 for example, buy a slider, delete the slider comlpletely then transfer the Z10 core-OS files on it. After that, having a BB10 core in the slider, we run an Autoloader that manages the capacitive keyboard (for example PP autoloaders).

    Just ideas...
    But is it feasable?

    Nothing is impossible!

Your thoughts and comments are welcome!

You'd have to pay Qualcomm millions of dollars to build the chipset drivers. You'd also need custom drivers for all of the other hardware (camera, keyboard, etc).

There are countless other issues too, like obtaining BlackBerry signing keys to be able to install a BlackBerry OS on the device.

Not feasible due to the unique signature and hardware checks done during bootup on a BB10 device.

Boot operation cannot be tampered with on both the hardware and software side.
