No the z30 is better....both as a consumer device and a corporate device......instead of moving on all the time, one should just live in the present for a bit. Try BB10 on the z30 with the latest OS, all the BlackBerry Apps, and 95 percent of the android apps as per 2014. Then come back and tell us to move on.....oh well I guess we have.....moved on pass the iphone by a long shot now. Only BB10 users know that now.

I have both a q10 and iPhone 5s and you can open as many new windows as you want in safari.

Maybe the older iPhones can't do that but the newer ones you can.

And can't you do that with your q10? I've never checked with previous browser versions, but I'm opening the 42nd tab with 10.3 browser on z10

Regarding android apps: why don't mention about in general pathetic in-app performance and ridiculous app load times?
These things keeps me away from using android apps, so I use such apps only when I really have to.
Geez. Be more fair and less biased.

I can open as many browser windows as I like on my q10 but the OP said his iPhone stopped at 8 which isn't the case for me.

On Blackberry 10 with lack of native apps, yes. (you have to fill those gaps somehow, right?)

PS: I was referring STRICTLY to Android apps on BB10.
If you use an Android smartphone separately the difference is huge in terms of performance, on my S2 with CyanogenMod 10.2 (KitKat 4.3.1) the apps launch very fast. It was far better on JellyBean too in comparison with BB10. Heck, the apps were opened quicker even on Android 2.3.4.

The Android apps load times are really ridiculous on BB10.

He is comparing two older models. His point is still valid.

If you switch they reload.. they are basically links, not actually active tabs.

It's about as valid as comparing the web page loading times of those two phones.

Or you can compare it to the iPhone that released the same year as the Q10.

That's sad. I think they really should implement google play services, along with BB10, if that's possible. This may kill the app gap, totally. Also, majority of people already have a gmail(my assumption, that is).
Also, 4.3 is jellybean. Kitkat starts from 4.4, and it's smooth & pretty.

    Okay, thanks for the clarification
