Long story short, I upgraded to OS .656 last night, and it somehow messed up my phone and made it to where I had no Wi-Fi connectivity unless I turned the phone's cellular radio off and forced it to use Wi-Fi. Otherwise, it would just use it's painfully slow EDGE network.

I downgraded back to .593, and all seems fine. It connects and the Wi-Fi logo goes from gray to white, as it should. But that process (connecting and the logo turning white, indicating connection) takes about a minute. The network's name will show up, the Wi-Fi logo will show up (in gray), and then after about a minute it turns white and I'm connected.

    Is this normal?

I have the same thing since i upgraded to .593

WiFi name appears on screen straight away but it takes about a minute for the WiFi logo to turn white.
