It hasn't been mentioned, but, the Torch 9800 can be bought for a very reasonable price used and has the Bold keyboard and touch screen... I found a unlocked one on newegg.com for about $200 and the phones they sell are like new...

If you want to go cheaper but not necessarily like new condition then you can easily find the 9800 for $80 to about $120 on ebay or Craigslist.

Ok I really won't get any newer blackberry device like those touchscreen bold phones. Why can't they make a cheaper bold phone that is as big as 9000 and not touchscreen?
Also I wonder if someone out there still sells a brand new Bold 9000...

Prior to upgrading to my Q10 I had a bold 9700. I loved it, used it the very first day it came out until T-Mobile served a compliment and set me up with Q10. If I had to choose, 9700 because of its reliability, size, speed and ITS a BLACKBERRY! Awesome phone, never gave me issues (I took really good care of it) In fact, I sold my 9700 on Ebay a few months ago for about two hundred and fifty dollars! I know you can get them for around a hundred. I'd go with that 9700 and when you want to upgrade to a touch screen 9900/Q10 depending on your budget and preference of OS. BB7 was productive. BB10 is a big step. Depends on what you need it for.

I had the 9000 and 9700 and would get the 9700... but the 9650 is bigger. you know that the 9650 is CDMA, right?

A friend had the 9650, and I really liked the size of it compared to my 9700. The 9000 is just too old now, though it does have a nice keyboard. The trackball gets dirty after a while, and I replaced mine a few times.

If you want a bigger keyboard, the 9650 is the way to go.
