Im not sure if this has been posted or discussed but as the holidays are coming, I am interested in the BlueAnt Supertooth 3. I've read that it announces callers, etc but my question is:
My 8900 is work issued. Recently they announced that they are going to enforce encryption and one of the drawbacks is when the phone is locked and someone calls, I will only see the number and not the details (which is stupid IMO) so am wondering if the Bluetooth wont be able to announce who's calling. I know theres an option not to encrypt contacts but my guess is work will force that setting.
Ask your administrator for possible issues with a Bluetooth headset and explain your situation to them in a calm and nice manner, I am sure you'll get the answer to your question.
