I have a platronics headset and a BB 8350i. Last month, I had to get a new BB unit as the trackball was defective on the old one. However, since I got the new phone, I cannot get my headset to show up when its searching for it. I'm trying to pair it up so I can use it again.
It worked perfectly until then. I used it use it on my old unit up until I got the new one.
Any ideas on what could be wrong or how to fix it?
I believe you need to set the head set into pairing mode. there should be a combination of two buttons you need to press for a few seconds to get it to go into paring mode. Once it is (i believe flashing in purple) the BB will be able to find it.
