Bluetooth device reseting phone

I have an 8350i that I use a Sony Rokr headset with. Sometimes, more frequently lately, when I turn on the headset, the phone undergoes a hard reset, as if the battery were removed and replaced. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any advice?
