I would assume that as long as the ear piece supports audio playback and is connected to the device it should automatically work. Are you sure that your earpiece is able to do this or is it just a regular bluetooth for handsfree calling?

I use Motorola S9HD, and it works GREAT.. music, phone, voice command. I think your bluetooth has to be A2DP compatible in order to listen to music from your phone, but I might be wrong.

Elvine82 is correct. Any bluetooth accessory needs to be capable of A2DP in order to stream audio content.

All of my Bluetooth headsets work for media. The only backdraw I can find is that, if it isn't an A2DP headset I have absolutely NO control over volume. Slacker, Pandora, iHeart Radio, and the internal media play REALLY LOUD and that's the only way they play.

All of my Plantronics headsets work with music, but like I said above, they are LOUD!

Another stupid question...I don't use iheart so I can only guess it had a menu option to enable sound output to bluetooth. Otherwise if this still don't work, I would think your ear piece is not compatible.

dont know. but i will look. thanks for helping me find out on how to get this working. im in welding class and it would be nice to have this working instead of having the wire on that comes with it.

As Given said, your bluetooth has to have A2DP for you to hear audio streaming. My old Plantronics 655, for example, isn't capable of this function; I can only use it for calls.
