I imagine that these two mid-range Android phones are almost entirely outsourced projects. With the low volume/low risk purchase, they probably aren't a very high priority for whatever company is manufacturing these for BlackBerry so who knows when they will show up. I can't imagine that either will make or break the hardware program.

Unfortunately, while not considered dead by many on here, former CEO, Thors also felt that sales were doable.....even thought he had an iPhone Killer. If the Z10 had been launched two years earlier, competitive sales- perhaps. IPhone Killer- doubtful. However, that launch would have been a great prelude for the Z30 to kick some ****. Anyway.....back to reality. What "is" interesting, everyone- including BlackBerries' critics were actually praising the Priv and at the same time, everyone suspected that BlackBerry was going to overprice the device. Well, everyone......except Chen and whomever agreed or set the price. Recent Priv price dropped "permanently" 50.00...... SMH
