I had the same problem on a Q5.
I did a hard reset by holding the volume keys for several seconds. That worked for me.
I'll try that. Thanks.

Have you updated BlackBerry world to the latest version?
Differentiate or Die
I"m having problems opening BlackBerry World as well. When I try my screen goes blank for about 5 seconds (I see only a black background) then it comes back to my regular home screen. I tried several times. Did restart the phone twice. Installed an update for BlackBerry World earlier today about 4 hrs ago. I'm using leaked 10.3 on phone. Hard reset using volume buttons did not resolve this problem.
The BlackBerry World update is not compatible with. 296 version of 10.3. You will need to reinstall the BlackBerry World .bar
Downloaded BlackBerry World jar in my phone but could not open it. Tried BlackBerry Link, but it no longer recognizes my phone. I've decided to do a clean sweep, that should do it.
On the Q5, a simple reset worked for me.

That's cool for you dude. I just completed the swipe and restore from previous saving on BlackBerry link a few days ago, and BlackBerry World remains screwed up. What can I do now? Well I'm going to try the 10.2 again. Try World from there, and if it works then I will go back to 10.3 and cross my fingers hoping it will continue to work from 10.3. Wish my luck.
Install Bla1ze bar file he posted last week. Worked fine and easy fix, just don't update app world again
Q10 with Telus on 10.3.0.296
Keeping my fingers crossed for you man. Either will work. Most likely the 10.2 since it's more stable.

Whew! Thanks for the support. 10.2 did get the job done. Back on 10.3 now with no problem.
