I'm taking a trip to Europe tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone knew if AT&T would charge me for using WiFi over seas? The guy at the AT&T store said that I could get charged.. does anyone know? Thanks
You'd have to make sure your EDGE (or 3G) isn't connected while roaming, just go into the mobile network options and turn it off while roaming. You won't be charged if you connect to a WiFi network as your not using the carrier's network.
