My blackberry curve 8520 recently started reverting to a white screen. The white screen appears unexpectedly and sporadically. Once the screen appears, the only thing that will make the phone go back to normal is plugging it into the charger. Doing a batter pull does NOT work. I read the other posts about the "white screen of death" and have tried reloading the device software and also putting electrical tape on the solder points behind the usb port. When I put my phone back together after putting on the electrical tape, my media card had been wiped completely clean. Does anybody have any other suggestions for fixing this white screen?? Thanks.
I have the same problem. I've tried to wipe my BB, but the loader, or jl_cmder doesn't recognize the BB beacuse the device is in infinite loop restart process.
I tried to pull battery, wait 6 hours, but doesn't work.
This thread hadn't been responded to in over a year.
