Operating systems that "enjoy" a smaller market share tend to have one benefit: fewer hackers and viruses.
Well, I'm stating that like I know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, is this a potential benefit? If I were a hacker or virus writer, wouldn't I go for the androids and iPhones of the world?
I say this because I appreciate some security on a smartphone.
What do you think?

The malware mongers have been attacking Android phones for some time now, and unless Google starts seriously hardening that OS it's only going to get worse.

If there are viruses and hackers that attack iPhones then my friend is screwed. Hopefully it doesn't happen to him
