Has any one bought the new bb tour for verizon of the internet from a place like ebay or craigs list and if so what is the process you have to go through to get it set up and working and is it worth it or am i looking at alot of headachs?

Not a hard process at all. Just need to call Verizon and swap devices. You can even do it online if you are switching from a BB.

if you get the IMEI from the seller can you find out about wether or not its ever been activated on your own i ask because i called verizon wireless and they said they would need to have the phone in their hand and if it did turn out stolen they would need to return it.

With a cdma phone, like the tour, you need to get the esn to verify that it can be activated.

Besides making sure the ESN clean, ask the seller if the phone has been on BES or BIS. Reason being, if it has been on BES it will have IT Policy and if you are not good at messing with BB phones it can be a major headache.

i paid 500$ for one of f of craigslist.... dont do it the 3g doesnt work well no service in a lotta areas.... its like not a good bb in canada on gsm. on telus or bell its amazing my cousin got one. if u want a tour unlocked gsm get a javelin same hting just smaller
