Is there any way to stream music to the blackberry pearl. Everything loads but when Pandora or live 365 begins the connection stops. Verizon said that this forum may have something. Has anyone had success with this?
First, welcome to CB. What OS version do you have on your device? Go to options/about and its the third line down.
Second here is a list of things to try from Pandora.
1. Open "Options" (wrench icon) -> Advanced Options -> Applications
2. Select Pandora in the list
3. Press the menu button
4. Select "Edit Permissions"
5. Set the permissions for Connections, Interactions to "Default" and User data to "Allow" (some options may show "Custom" after you set them, which is fine).
6. Press the menu button and select "Save" Finally, make sure your firewall is not enabled (the BlackBerry default is 'disabled') in which case we advise contacting your workplace IT team for advice before proceeding. To disable the firewall, if permitted:
1. Open "Options" (wrench icon) -> Security Settings -> Firewall.
2. Make sure Firewall is set to "disabled" and save the changes.
I just saw your response to this problem and i have the exact same problem. I changed all the settings and then when I try to log in to my live365 it says poor data connection. What does that mean?
