My husband is shopping for a new phone tomorow. He has AT&T which is offered by them and which is the best? Or should he go to another provider? He has never used a blackberry before except for playing with my storm. So any info would be helpfull. How does a BB compare to an iphone?

switch to a verizon family plan and get him a storm. if you stay with att obviously get the bold

I agree with md12. Plus, if you go thru Verizon and get him the Storm, you can get any other bb model Verizon offers free. That's a deal there!

I say play with them all. All that interest you anyways. I was dead set on the Storm until I tried one. I have met a few friends here who have had them.......Key word is HAD. Test them all out and it will come to you for one reason or another....... Its a tough call but its yours.....

Yea its a personal choice. I don't like a touch screen
Because I have to have buttons so I have the Bold
And I love it! But take him to both ATT and Verizon
Stores and let him hold and play with both models
And see which one he likes the best. Some love the
Touch screen and others don't, but you can't go wrong
With either model. Let us know which one he picks.

I'd go for the Bold. I had the Curve 8300, Curve 8310 and now the Bold. By far, the Bold has more features than the Curves.
Curve 8300 had nothing (wi-fi, GPS)
Curve 8310 had GPS
Bold 900 has 3G, wi-fi, and GPS
But it all depends on your husband, a lot come into factor. How much $ does he want to spend? What does he want to use it for? etc.

Bold. The only phone that offers anything better is the 8900 with smaller size, better camera and better memory. Try them both, though I'm biased towards the bold as the screen is so good for movies/photo viewing

Well it depends if you have 3g in your area. If you do, get the bold or storm as both are excellent devices.

If you don't have 3g in your area get the new 8900. It has wifi and GPS but no 3g. It also has 256mb of memory and a 3.2 mp camera. Better then the bold's 2.0

When did you get your storm....if it's in the last 30 days Verizon should give you the bogo for the new one, so he could get any BB on VZW for free, if you bought yours in the last 30 days.

I have been racking my brain on the next Blackberry device I should upgrade to. I have the Blackberry 8320 right now thru T-Mobile. I've been looking at the new 8900 Curve but would really like to know which device to get as far as the Storm or the 8900 Curve. I want a phone that will give me access to tv or music videos etc. I also want to be able to get on internet and surf really fast as I can possibly can. Let me know on this, thx.
