It could use an update. I like TomTom and wish I could link/sync my BlackBerry to my dedicated in-vehicle GPS device. Lifetime map/traffic/red light camera/POI updates in BlackBerry maps would he awesome.

Hmmm. I'm not sure if they're associated or not, but I was always under the impression that TomTom was used on the back end for BlackBerry maps. Maybe I'm incorrect...

And NavTeq is owned by Nokia (and was not sold to Microsoft in the phone deal).

There's just no substitute for Google maps. If BlackBerry could get one and only one google service, I wish it could be google maps.

Google Maps works great. You just can't login to use some things, but voice navigation is all I need.

BlackBerry Maps also has enough details here in my city and neighbouring states (in India), and even all streets are there, so navigating to any address works alright.

In fact, while going to some cities for the first time, I've had a couple instances when Google Maps took me to an entirely different suburb - and - the BlackBerry Maps was what worked! Go figure that one!

But yeah, Nokia HERE on BB10 would be awesome.

Interesting! I've always used Wisepilot as my phone satnav and it has always worked great. It also is connected to, or powered by, Navteq.
