BlackBerry = Rodney?
I just finished a conference call with an ESV that has built a really nifty online data management tool which we're looking to use for pipeline construction, commissioning and operations reporting. I contacted this firm because their client runs on multiple platforms, including BlackBerry!
However, as soon as I mentioned we'd like to deploy a subset of our CALs to BB handsets? "Oh wow. I didn't think anyone actually USED BlackBerry. I haven't used a BlackBerry in years; I love my iPhone, have you looked at using them?"
My response was that "yes, we've examined all mobile operating systems and we're going with iOS and BlackBerry due to their security, especially compared to Android".
She changed the topic, but wow - as Rodney Dangerfield famously said, "No Respect!". It doesn't bother me ... I couldn't care less what others think is "cool", but Mr. Chen has a significant uphill battle to fight just to change the mindset of the unwashed masses.

The majority of the world doesn't even graps the idea that BB10 is a completely different platform than BBOS.
Heck even CB users go on saying BBOS when they mean BB10.
