    I got a blackberry as a gift a few months ago and its broken, alot of buttons dont work. I was wondering how i could send it in to Blackberry directly or how i could contact blackberry (a phone number or something) and ask them if the warrenty is stll valid.

    is this related to your other post?

    what carrier is the phone branded to? theres a 1 year manufacture warranty on the phones. if its from a carrier, you can bring it to them for repair/replacement.

    Yeah this is directely related to my other post. The phone came in a black RIM box, i dont think its from a carrier, im with telus at the moment.
    Maybe i can call telus and tell them i got it as a gift? Would that work?
    ANd i dont know how to contact blackberry thats the problem, im sure its still under their warrenty, Zurch left a number, ill try that out.

    if it isnt a carrier branded phone, they wont honor a warranty. hit alt + right shift + h, whats the Vendor ID number?

    i think that is a Bell Mobility vendor ID. if you are on Bell, bring it to them to see if they will warranty it.
