Well,i'm from Belgium.
When i went out to look for a new car i landed with mercedes.
The seller was telling me i could play all of my music from my "iphone"via bleutooth in the car. (cla was the type of car).
I replied him : that i'm not a big fan of those I toys (sorry but i really said that).
He looked at me and said : well, i guess we are in the same boat then...
I took my z10 and showed him.
At the first moment he tought it was a HTC one, but then he saw the BlackBerry logo he said oh what the....
His response showed me how good BlackBerry did with marketing their phones.
He said : well, i am a real BlackBerry freak (he showed both his 9900 and the latest torch 9810 i guess) but i didn't know anything about this phone...

So i guess that only the cb nation guys and girls know about it.

To end the story : i went back 1 week ago and he already bought a brand new Q10

All ended well

Don't want to be a party pooper, but sales on slot only represents, well sales on slot which is just one single store, and in no way represents BlackBerry sales in Nigeria. But its quite obvious that sales of BB10 devices in Naija (Nigeria for short) remains low, with the last quarter global volumes put at a dismal 1.1m units for BB10 BBOS devices, still selling globally and indeed here too (9900 is seriously loved).

Personally I don't think enough people are using and experiencing the BB10 goodness in Naija, what's really worrying is that with BBM going cross platform more and more people are dumping their BlackBerry phones for Samsung (huge range in Nigeria) and this cheap Android brand called Techno that has some decent hardware running the latest ICS Jelly Bean for peanuts! I would love to share in this excitement, but the outcome realistically looks quite worrying to say the least. Painfully so, but quite true.....

It is only getting worse over here !
Me and my dad today heard and saw how somebody got talked out of a q or z10...
When we asked why , the salesman said : Well , you ask me why ? Did you read the newspapers ?
I answerd : Jup i'm reading them since 2 years , actually they are just writing the same over and over again. They are bancrupt , broke etc... But hey , if they said it two years ago and they are still in bussines....
The salesman looked at me like i was a allknowing teenager...

But the worst part had to come...
I convinced the guy to buy a BB10 after showing him how you will be able to have all the apps , settings, hub, picpasw...
He asked the salesman a Q10 and the answer was : no problem , it will be here in 3 weeks...

That was the moment where i thought...Ok , let it be man.
